Dr. Steven Gaich
Dr. Gaich was recruited to our staff in January 2004 from the Akron area where he had been in private practice for four and half years. He graduated in 1991 from the University of Akron with a Bachelor's of Science. He received his M.D. from NEOUCOM in 1995 and completed his residency in 1999 at Akron General Medical Center. Dr. Gaich successfully completed his board certification in 2002. He is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and was recently elected as a member of the prestigious Central Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He successfully passed his examination to become a Certified Menopausal Consultant through the North American Menopausal Society in October 2007.
Dr. Gaich was born and raised in Willard, Ohio. Dr. Gaich and his wife Catherine were married in 1994. They have two children, A.J. who was born in 2001 and Jackson who arrived in 2004. Catherine is a regional retail executive for National City Bank. He spent most of his free time this past year coaching his son's baseball and football teams. He does enjoy playing golf when he gets a chance. He also loves watching NASCAR, with Jeff Gordon being his favorite driver.
Dr. Anita Bellante
Dr. Bellante joined our staff in May of 2004 after completing her residency at Akron General Medical Center. She graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science. She received her medical degree from the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in 2000. Dr. Bellante successfully completed her board certification in 2006. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Bellante and her husband, Damon, were married in 2000. Damon is currently employed as a sales representative for Roche. Dr. Bellante has three children, Victoria (2006) and twins Adrianna and Alexander (2007).
Dr. Bellante enjoys running, golfing, and skiing in her free time although currently most of her time away from work is spent changing diapers.
Dr. Meghan Foote
Dr. Foote joined our staff in August 2007 after completing her residency at Akron General Medical Center. She graduated from Texas Christian Univeristy with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She received her DO from Kansas University of Medicine and Biosciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003. Dr. Foote completed the first phase of her Board Certification and is eligible to complete the process in 2009. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Foote and her husband, Dave, were married in 1999. Dave is currently employed as a mechanical engineer. Dr. Foote is the proud mother of Jackson who was born in January 2007 and Graham born in January of 2009. She enjoys traveling to Nebraska to see her family and watching her native Cornhuskers play football. She enjoys skiing, running and is an avid sports fan.
Dr. Shannan Ross
Dr. Ross joined our staff in December 2007 from Ashland Ohio where she practiced for four years. She graduated from the University of Akron in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She received her MD from NEOUCOM in 1999 and moved to Wilmington, NC for her residency training. After successful completion of this program in 2003 she moved home to Ohio and began private practice. Doctor Ross completed her Board Certification with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2006. She relocated to Medina and joined our practice to be closer to her family.
Dr. Ross enjoys spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephew. Her hobbies include reading, cycling, camping and scuba diving.
Susan Wright, CNP
Susan Wright, a certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, joined our staff in January 2004. Previously she was employed for sixteen years by Dr. Steven Pap and Dr. Jeffrey Garner, the last four years as a Nurse Practitioner. She received a Diploma in Nursing from Akron City Hospital and her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Case Western Reserve University. For the past twenty six years she has practiced in the areas of neonatal intensive care, newborn nursery, labor and delivery, and women's health. Additionally, Susan has worked as a Clinical Instructor of undergraduate obstetric students at Case Western Reserve University. She obtained national certification in Women's Heath from the National Certification Corporation and is a member of the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses, the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health and the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses.
Susan and her husband John have been married for twenty seven years and have three children Mary, Emily, and John. Susan is actively involved in her church where she plays the piano. She enjoys reading and needle point. The family has resided in Medina for the past seventeen years.
